CONGRATULATIONS ALL ELIZABETHTOWN GRADUATES! 

On Commencement Day you will be wearing academic attire (regalia) that continues the traditions that began hundreds of years ago.  The gowns, hoods, and hats date from medieval times and indicate the wearer is an educated person.  We are proud that this year all of the regalia worn by students at Commencement will be environmentally sensitive.  It is made from 100 percent post-consumer recycled plastic bottles!  As a result, fewer plastic bottles will be clogging our landfills because for every Elizabethtown College student walking at Commencement, an average of 25 plastic bottles will have been used to manufacture the cap, hood, and gown.

In the effort to remain “green” on campus, the line of commencement wear - named NuHorizon^® - is made of fabric spun from molten plastic pellets. With some 60 million plastic bottles going into U.S. landfills every day, Elizabethtown College – and our graduates – are helping to turn trash into keepsakes.

IMPORTANT DATES:

• Deadline for ordering regalia w/o incurring a late fee of $20.00 – April 1, 2020

• Commencement – Saturday, May 16, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony to be held outside in the Dell.  Ladies, please consider flat or low-heeled shoes.  Rain Location is Thompson Gymnasium.

• Rehearsal Evening – Thursday, May 14, 2020.  4:30 – 6:30 p.m. The College Store will be open for regalia pick-up and purchases.  Alumni would like to greet you and you may pick up your medallion from the Annual Fund.  5:30 – 6:30 p.m. is a BBQ for all students in the KAV and 6:30 – 8:00 p.m. Commencement Rehearsal in the Thompson Gym.

• Baccalaureate – Friday, May 15, 2020 – 7:00 p.m.  All Students Invited to Baccalaureate in the Leffler Chapel and Performance Center and stay for the 8:00 p.m. “Reflections By the Lake Reception at the Leffler Chapel.

NOTE:  Please be aware that all graduates intending to attend must place an order by March 31, 2020, to avoid the $20.00 late fee. This website is ONLY for SCPS graduates and Traditional graduates that can no longer easily pick up regalia at the College Store.  If you are a Traditional on-campus student, please do NOT use this website.  Traditional students unable to attend the Graduation Fair on March 18, 2020, may pick up regalia in the College Store during regular business hours at any time prior to Commencement on May 16^th. 

SCPS graduates and Traditional graduates no longer on campus should use this site to order online and may request regalia (1) To be shipped to home (a $15.95 S&H fee will apply) or (2) for pick-up in the College Store, beginning the first week in May or at the rehearsal on May 14^th.  Emails will be sent when regalia arrives instore.
